Certificate of Implementation
The Certificate of Implementation is a document containing a plan and a report regarding a precise land, in which a land surveyor certifies that he has landmarked this ground at a given location.
This document is often required to obtain a building permit from the municipality, whether for an extension or a new construction.
This document also certifies the conformity of the proposed building, with respect to its position in relation to the property limits and the regulations in force.
It also certifies that the building is located off the base of a registered easement.
The Certificate of Implementation is ruled by the Regulation respecting the Standards of Practice for Picketing and Implementation of the Quebec Order of Land Surveyors (RSQ, c. A-23, r.8).
