Cadastral operation
The cadastre is a public register that is a part of the State Land Register.
This register is there to keep the registration of rights such as sales and mortgages, and thus protect them and make them public. A cadastral operation is a modification made to the cadastral plans of this register.
An official plan will be prepared by a land surveyor according to the legislator's standards to make these changes. It should be noted that the modifications must comply with the subdivision by-law of the municipality, which will in most cases have to approve the requested operations. Note that the municipality may charge park fees for certain subdivision operations.
There are several types of cadastral operations such as registration , subdivision , le consolidation ou cancellation of a lot and that those require the approval of all owners of the lot and the consent of mortgagees.
